Colorado Parks and Wildlife & Trout Unlimited
We joined Trout Unlimited, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the USDA Forest Service, and the National Park Service to document the reintroduction of Colorado’s state fish, the Greenback Cutthroat Trout—once thought to be extinct. Volunteers hiked into the mountains carrying bags of hatchery-raised trout to release them back into their native range. Capturing this powerful moment of restoration and resilience was an unforgettable experience.
